Assassin's Creed III: Liberation was first released as a title for PS Vita, but Ubisoft has announced today that it will be bringing the game to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in the future as a downloadable title.

This new version of the game will arrive with updated visuals including improved facial animations, as well as new and tweaked content to make the game more enjoyable, but just as accessible as the original handheld game.

Ubisoft will also be making an Assassin's Creed game that will be exclusively for iOS and Android devices, and this game will be based solely on Naval combat. Titled Assassin's Creed: Pirates, it will be an open-world game where players can traverse the seas and upgrade their ships for battle.

Check out the trailer for that game below:

New Assassin's Creed games are always welcome, and it'll be great that there will be something for players spread across the different platforms to check out and play in the future.
