Gamers made their voices heard, and Microsoft has listened based on today's news that the company will be changing policies regarding the Xbox One.

First reported from Giant Bomb's Patrick Klepek and then on Xbox.com, The main changes will be that a 24-hour check-in will no longer be required, and that Xbox One games can be freely traded, rented, and given as gifts whether it is a first party game or not.

There will also be no regional restrictions either, and games can still be downloaded day and date of release. For these functions to work, all that will be required is an update once the console has been released in November.
