After a few tweets of an updated Rockstar logo and a silhouetted image of seven armed men, Rockstar Games has officially announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming. Not much is known yet about the title, but it will be available next Fall for PS4 and Xbox One. A trailer for the title will be released this Thursday, so expect plenty of analysis videos to hit the web as we begin the countdown.
Red Dead Redemption was released six years ago and remains one of Rockstar’s best titles in my opinion. Xbox One players recently got a chance to revisit the franchise with a backwards compatible update, and PC fans remain hopeful they’ll be able to experience the western hit either with a remake or a forthcoming announcement of a PC version of the sequel.

More details regarding the game, including a possible gameplay demo, will be shown during the Bethesda E3 press conference on June 14th.
War never changes, and neither does my love for the Fallout franchise. The long wait to explore the vast wasteland again is almost over!
"Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today confirmed the upcoming global release of Fallout® 4, the next generation of open-world gaming. The world premiere of the game will take place during Bethesda’s E3 Showcase being held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on June 14th beginning at 7pm PST, and streamed live around the world via Twitch and YouTube.
Fallout 4 is being developed for Xbox One, PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system and PC by award-winning Bethesda Game Studios® under the direction of Todd Howard. This eagerly-awaited game is the follow up to the 2008 ‘Game of the Year’, Fallout® 3, and the first title from the world-renowned studio since the release of their global phenomenon and 2011 ‘Game of the Year’, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim®."

Developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix once again, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the follow-up to 2011's Human Revolution. The game will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC when it does launch at a date to be determined.
Players will once again take the role of Adam Jensen who will take on various dangerous tasks as he battles new enemies and defends the world, which according to the current description, has segregated augmented individuals due to the events near the end of Human Revolution.
Mankind Divided will take place two years after Human Revolution, and looks to once again feature multiple ways, lethal and nonlethal, to complete objectives in the game.
I really enjoyed Human Revolution when it was released, and can't wait for Mankind Divided's eventual release. Let's hope more details will be shared at E3 this year, and be sure to check out the announcement trailer below!
"The year is 2029, and mechanically augmented humans have now been deemed outcasts, living a life of complete and total segregation from the rest of society. Now an experienced covert operative, Adam Jensen is forced to operate in a world that has grown to despise his kind."

Pre-E3 game announcements galore! Homefront 2, Mortal Kombat X, and Forza Horizon 2 have been revealed today

With one more week to go until the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, developers and publishers are beginning to start to excitement a bit earlier with the announcement of several new titles like Halo 5: Guardians, and Battlefield: Hardline, and a few more have joined in the fray.
Earlier today Homefront 2 was announced, and is stated to be developed by Crytek, the pioneers behind the Cryengine and Crysis titles. I enjoyed the original game which had a few issues, so let's hope the new title will be able to garner more success from a technical and commercial perspective.
Next up is Mortal Kombat X, which was announced via a CG trailer, which you can check out below. The game is slated for a 2015 release and will be coming to PS3, 360, PS4, XB1, and PC next year.
Lastly is Forza Horizon 2, a game that shouldn't be too much of a surprise as the original title was very successful and enjoyable to play. For Xbox One, the game will utilize the engine that powered Forza 5, which will also include the Drivatar system that players enjoyed from Forza. The game will also be released for Xbox 360, with developers Sumo Digital at the helm of that version.
The gaming news has only just begun, so be prepared for tons more next week!

Ubisoft is going to be fairly busy this year as they prepare for the upcoming release of Watch Dogs and Far Cry 4, which was announced earlier this week. The fourth title in the Island-FPS franchise is set for a November 18th release and will arrive for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
No details just yet about a possible Wii-U release, but more information on the game will be revealed during Ubisoft's E3 2014 press conference.
Far Cry 4 will take players to Kyrat, a fictional Himalayas-esque area that is governed by a self-appointed king, the newest villain to star on the game's front cover art as displayed above.
Far Cry 3 was my favorite in the series so far, so I have high hopes for this title which has the momentum of Far Cry 3 behind it. Let's hope it will be just as good!

Early this morning 343 Industries and Microsoft announced Halo 5: Guardians, the next installment in the new trilogy which began with Halo 4. As detailed in their Xbox Wire post, 343 are looking to improve upon the Halo franchise with power of Next-Generation technology:
"Halo 5: Guardians is a bigger effort than Halo 4. That applies to the content and scope of the game, as well as the technology in what’s now a brand new and more powerful engine. Certainly there are some core elements carried over from prior games, but we’ve invested a huge effort in retooling our tech to take full advantage of the Xbox One’s hardware and ecosystem to create worlds and experiences worthy of next-gen."
With E3 next month and the constant rumor of Halo 2: Anniversary popping up, it's certainly an interesting time to be a Halo fan!
