Announced and launching in Japan on November 14th, the PS Vita TV is a device that allow you to stream video content, as well as the ability to play Vita games on the big screen with a Dualshock 3 controller. PS Vita TV has a Vita memory card slot for games, and will play most that do not require any touchscreen capabilities. It can also play over 600 PS1 and PSP games while using a PS3 controller.

Another neat feature about the product is that it can stream PS4 content via its remote play options, which is shown below in the video.

PS Vita TV will arrive in Japan for 9,954 yen, which amounts to about $100 in US currency.

This device seems neat, but I wonder if it will improve Vita software while hurting Vita hardware sales in the process. It'll be interesting to see how it does and whether it makes its way to other countries in the future.
