This week I will be doing some online gaming with Perfect Dark and Modern Warfare 2. The online Co-op on Perfect Dark is still a blast after all these years, and Xbox Live play really make this an even better experience.
Even after all these months have passed, I still have a great time with Modern Warfare 2. Even with all the exploits players have been using, most of the time I can play fun and balanced matches. The question of whether the new maps will be worth 1200 MSP or not is still up in the air, I believe they will be a nice addition.
I also plan to play through the Splinter Cell Conviction Demo a few more times. The action so far is a nice improvement over the classic "hide in the shadows" gameplay, and I can't wait to see how the co-op turns out.

Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling appeared on Major Nelson's Podcast last night to announce the March 30th release of the Stimulus Map Pack will cost 1200 MSP ($15). The Pack will include 5 maps, with two being classics from Call of Duty 4, and three brand new ones. I believe this is a first for maps to cost that much, so it will interesting to see the sales, but a game with over 25 million players ready for new maps, Modern Warfare 2 may set more records.
Well I guess the new maps will be out March 30th. Not sure I have mapathy, but I can't wait to play some more Modern Warfare 2 with fresh content in a few weeks!
Major Nelson has updated the Xbox Live Activity list to feature the top 20 for Retail and Arcade games so now its easier to see which games we're all playing. Modern Warfare 2 stays at the top and Mass Effect makes it way to the list at number 6. Congrats to the Bad Company 2 Demo as it is number 3 on the list, even above Call of Duty 4 which usually takes that spot. For Arcade games, Portal Still Alive was a hit deal as it is number one with the ever popular Trials HD right behind it. How will the improved list change next week? Come Back and find out!

So Mass Effect 2 came out this week, and that's what Ive been playing most of this week, and I hope to play even more this weekend and start to work on a review for it. Besides adventuring as Shepard, I'll probably play a little Modern Warfare 2 and get some more kills with the AA-12 Auto-Shotgun. Have a great and relaxing weekend of Gaming!

Not much as changed this week. Modern Warfare 2 keeps its top spot, while Assassin's Creed II moves down a bit. Worms 2 was the most purchased Xbox Live Arcade game, and was apart of the holiday deals, so that may have helped it.

This Week Modern Warfare 2 keeps its spot despite many new glitches being discovered by players. The multiplayer keeps me coming back to it, so I hope these soon. Gears of War 2 pops back on the list at number 10, while single player experience Assassin's Creed II stays on the list which an a great feat for a non mulitplayer game. On the arcade list, Trials HD remains the most purchased game, and Call of Duty Classic trails behind it at number 1. How will the list change next week? Come back and find out!

For the second week in a row, Modern Warfare 2 remains the number one game, but Halo 3 is right behind at number 2. Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed II make their debut and take 5th and 6th place respectfully. One the arcade side of things, Madden Arcade is Number one and the recently half off Peggle trails behind it number 2. Overall a great week for games and new releases to play. Tis the season for gaming, and I've been playing the latest hits! How About You?
Modern Warfare 2 has pretty much taken up all my free time, but this week I picked AC II and the way I felt in my first impression post is still true: The game is a much better version of the first one and seems to be a game with some great replayability. Modern Warfare 2 has kept me hooked as I rank up in multiplayer, and slowly but surely rack up more stars in Spec Ops mode. so far my star count is 40/69, and counting, although a few on Veteran mode are testing my patience. I'll probably be bouncing between these two throughout the weekend, so you might find me online.

Modern Warfare 2.....Like everyone else!
Even though Ive completed the campaign and played tons of multiplayer and Spec Ops, I just can't get enough of Modern Warfare 2. I usually stick to Team death match, but Ive been recently playing a little more Hardcore TDM since I've gotten a bit better with the sniper rifle.

Modern Warfare 2 is here, and it improves upon the great formula Infinity Ward had with Call of Duty 4, and kicks things up even higher this time. From the great campaign, to the new Spec Ops mode, and the multiplayer that will be enjoyed for years, Modern Warfare 2 is ready to take over Halo as the king of online shooting on a console. This time, were going deeper and hitting harder!
Let's start off with the campaign. Don't worry, no spoilers here, just a basic overview of what it brings. Taking place roughly 5 years after COD4, Modern Warfare 2 has you controlling multiple characters in classic Call of Duty form, with most of your time being spent alongside Soap Mactavish, the playable protagonist from the first Modern Warfare, only this time he is giving you orders and has been promoted to Captain. You'll fight all over the world, and will engage in combat for many different reasons, as you try to get rid of the main antagonists and their evil motives. With Imran Zakhaev gone, his loyal follower Vladimir Makarov steps up to lead and has some plans of his own, with revenge of Zakhaev being a major priority.
The campaign is about the same length as COD4, with many great sets of intense action that almost never lets up. It's more sweet than short, and any more might throw off the careful balance between quality and quantity that Infinity Ward possess. One issue that has been addressed which everyone will appreciate is the respawning nightmare where enemies would come from everywhere and never stop until you moved up to the next area. This made playing on the higher difficulties a frustrating occasion, and thankfully it has been reduced greatly and from my time with the campaign, almost nonexistent.
Now let's talk about spec ops. To break it down, I would say its like the most high impact missions from Campaign mode, with a score system implemented and a real live buddy to help you out. Spec Ops can be played Solo, Split-screen with 2 players, and online although there is no quick match or anything, you just simply invite a friend to play and you're off. Each of these missions, about 23 in all, offer three stars to earn. Most of these stars are based on the level of difficulty you will play on, but some levels base the star on what you do. Say for instance the Snowmobile race where depending on your time, more or less stars will be awarded to you. Each mission has requirements for obtaining the stars, about 69 in total, and playing through each multiple times will help in obtaining them all and perfecting your runs to earn all the stars. There are many achievements related to Spec Ops, which makes it a great addition to Modern Warfare 2.
Last but definitely not least is the multiplayer. Its the same great experienced based multiplayer with tons of guns, perks, and ranks to unlock, but there are so many new tweaks here and there to improve upon the greatness established in Call of Duty 4. Perks can now be upgraded, so using Marathon long enough will change to Marathon Pro, and so on, which allows you to check out each perk and see what benefits are given when you upgrade them.
Many guns return to use from Modern Warfare, but there are tons of new additions that are all pretty balanced and fun to use so far. Perks and kill streaks return as well, and now there are death-streaks, which will help you get back into the groove of taking out enemies by given you quick abilities after you've died a number of times without a kill.
There's so much to enjoy in Modern Warfare 2, and the multiplayer will keep you up late as you move toward the level cap of 70, only to prestige and start over again, but there are now benefits to doing so.
Overall, its safe to say Modern Warfare 2 was worth the hype, and a great game to play over and over.

How long does it last?
The Campaign Mode took about 7 hours, and the multiplayer will last a very long time. People are still playing COD4, and Modern Warfare is promised to have more than DLC than COD4, so more stuff will encourage us to keep the game in our collection
Is it a buy or rent?
Well if you play online and play with friends, this is a definite yes, However if you're just a single player kind of person, It may be a rent for the great story and splitscreen spec ops and multiplayer.
Wow. Ive only been playing Modern Warfare 2 for about an hour, and almost feel overwhelmed with all the action happening on screen. Infinity Ward has definitely done it again, and the action and story are definitely equal to what they did with COD4. The Graphics use the same engine as COD4, but thanks to a few new improvements and the nice 60fps, the game looks even better than COD4, which is really saying something.
There were about 300,000 people online when I tried multiplayer, but Ive been having some issues getting into games. I hope this is just a day one thing, because I really wanna play some Multiplayer! Spec ops is pretty awesome, and it feels like the great action moments from the single player are implemented into this mode. I only have about 6 stars, but I hope to gain some more if i can get a friend to play some spec ops with me. I hope to have a review sometime this week, so look out for that soon!

Best Character to have by your side-Captain Price
Your leader throughout COD4 as you played the new SAS member Soap Mactavish, was Captain Price, a British operative that knew how to handle any situation thrown his way. I always tried to stick close by him since he took down the enemies pretty well, and his no nonsense attitude really brought the story alive.
Favorite Mission- All Ghillied Up
This mission was great for two reasons: You played as Captain Price, and the exhilarating elements that made the mission stand out in the great action packed campaign. You donned a Ghillie suit for the entire mission in an attempt to get close enough to take out Imran Zakhaev. Getting to him required a great amount of stealth, and there were many moments of relief when you were able to pass the enemy soldiers.
Favorite Multiplayer Gun Class- Sub Machine Gun
The action packed multiplayer that is still played to this day had a slew of guns and attachments to chose from, and the sub machine became my favorite. Having a Silenced MP5 with a nice perk or two really helped me rack up some kills, and I can't wait to see the new sub machine guns that Modern Warfare 2 will offer.
Craziest Moment- Having a playable character die
Sergeant Paul Jackson was the second character you played as in COD4, and his time was pretty short. After a mini nuclear bomb goes off, you are left as Jackson wandering around in the aftermath until he slowly dies. It was pretty crazy and wasn't even the end of the game
Hardest Achievement Evar!-Mile High Club
After you beat the game, you play a quick epilogue mission where you must rescue a VIP on an airplane over taken by enemy forces. To get the Mile High Club achievement associated with it, you must complete this task on Veteran and in about one minute. Many that have played the game still haven't received this achievement. It was really hard to get, but following great videos on youtube helped me get the hardest achievement evar!!
