The wait to use an Xbox One controller on PC is now over as Microsoft have released official drivers for the controller in both an (x86) and (x64) download.
While there is currently no way to play games wirelessly, I'm sure that the ability to play without the charging cable is something that may be down the line depending on the request of users that demand it.
I've always felt comfortable playing PC games with my 360 controller, but now I may have to try them out with an Xbox One gamepad next!
