DeathSpank came out July 13, 2010, but the next game in the series will be out September 21 on the PlayStation Network and September 22 on XBLA. As explained on Giantbomb though, the game is not a direct sequel, which explains why it isn't titled DeathSpank 2.
Fans can expect more humor from the game, a new co-op character to play as (still offline co-op though), and a bigger world to interact in.
No price was announced yet, but the first game was 1200 MSP, so I would say to have at least that much ready if you plan on continuing the adventure of DeathSpank.
