Rockstar gives new update on upcoming GTA Online content, Stimulus package still coming after more issues have been addressed

Those holding out for the $500,000 coming to GTA Online will be waiting a bit longer, Rockstar Games has announced. The main reasoning for the delay is that the developers want to ensure that the remaining issues in GTA Online are remedied so the money won't disappear from player accounts when it gets deposited.
A new patch will be coming next week to help, and then the money will given to players.
Rockstar also laid out their plans for release when it comes to the Beach Bum pack and the Content Creator. These new pieces of content will be arriving later next month, alongside Social Club events, and in-game crate drops, which will contain some extra goodies for players.
Aside from this new content, Rockstar will be adding new Survival, Races, Last Man Standing and Deathmatches down the line as well.
The initial Content Creator features will include the ability to create deathmatches and race events, but will eventually have support for creating your very own missions. Rockstar will be able to monitor creations, and even highlight the best ones for every player to check out.
GTA Online's first month was rocky at the start, but soon it will be improving greatly so everyone can have a fun time with it.

The work continues for Rockstar when it comes to getting the major issues of GTA online fixed so everyone can fully enjoy it, and today marks another step with the latest update for the game.
Today's patch, which is available for both 360 and PS3, addresses several issues including the disappearance and duplication of purchased vehicles in player bought garages, the amount of money lost when killed in free-roam which is now $500, and several others, including better available characters when selecting the random option for character creation, reducing the loading times, and fixing the exploit that allowed players to sell personal vehicles repeatedly.
Aside from the update, the game is now available for download for Xbox 360 via Games on Demand. The required space is 16GB, with players first downloading a 7.63 GB file, and then the rest will be finished from launching the game. It is available for $59.99.
The $500,000 stimulus package will also still be coming, and Rockstar has now stated that the first installment of $250,000 should be in everyone's online account sometime next week.
Once heists and the content creator become available and everyone can fully enjoy the online experience without major issues, I'll get writing on a review of GTA Online. What I can say now is that despite the issues, I'm having a blast with it and have put in a few hours each day since the first major update.

The Xbox 360 Fall Update begins rolling out today, Converts current MS points into local currency

The Fall update for the Xbox 360 is here and the big feature this time is the conversion of Marketplace items into your local currency. Microsoft will be phasing out Microsoft Points in the near future, but any point cards bought in the meantime will now convert into money for your profile.
If you buy points at a store now and add them to your account, they will be automatically converted for you. After MS Points are gone, you'll still be able to buy cards for the Marketplace in stores, and that money will be added to your account. This way you won't have to add a credit or debit card to your profile if you don't want to.
Customers have asked about this feature for a while, as there was always a bit of confusion with Microsoft Points, so hopefully that will no longer be the case with this update, which will also be applied when the Xbox One launches in November.
