The Evil Within is an upcoming horror game from Shinji Mikami, one the masterminds behind Resident Evil and it's now set to arrive in North America on October 21 for current and next-gen consoles.
The game was originally set for August 26th in North America, but Mikami and his team at Tango Gameworks asked for additional time to polish up the game for final release in October.
Delays are fairly common for games, but even though we want the new titles asap, it's important that they're fully ready to go while giving us an experience that fits the developer's requirements.
