Wish you could explore San Andreas on your phone? Mobile gamers will be able to soon in the form of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mobile, Rockstar has announced. The mobile version of the original 2004 PS2 release will feature enhanced visuals to improve the aspects of the game including the draw distance, color, shadows, and character models when it's released for specific iOS, Android, Kindle and Windows Mobile devices.

No date or price has been set, but the mobile version will include multiple touch-screen setups, as well as support for the various controllers that can be used on mobile devices.

San Andreas is one of my favorite GTA titles, and it's nice you'll be able to play anywhere you go when this portable version comes out!

The next Deus Ex game won't be a regular console/PC release, but a mobile one which will be released in pieces as a series of titles. Deus Ex: The Fall contains a story that will stay on the timeline of Human Revolution.

The Fall will feature a new story that takes place in 2027, as players become Ben Saxon, a former British SAS Mercenary with his own augmentations as he begins investigating a drug conspiracy. The mobile title will begin near the start of Deus Ex: Icarus Effect, the released book that serves as a prequel to the Human Revolution title.

With the announcement of a new Halo title coming to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, it seems other companies are taking their series to handhelds in the hopes to introducing their titles to a new audience. We'll just have to see how they both do later this summer.

Episode 1 of the Walking Dead game will be making its way to the App Store on Thursday for $4.99. Telltale has also announced that you can pre-purchase the rest of the episodes for $14.99 within the game, saving you 25%. The game is also a Universal App, so you could purchase the game on an iPad or iPhone, and play on either device. From Telltale:

"We’ve spent a great deal of time carefully integrating our new interface design to create an even more intuitive experience with the touch screen as you explore a world ravaged by the undead based on the Eisner Award-winning comics from Robert Kirkman and Skybound Entertainment. You’ll have full character control of Lee Everett as investigation points, actions, dialogue and decision making flows onscreen and is seamlessly integrated with the environments."

The Walking Dead game will run on iPad 2, the new iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and 4th Generation iPods.
