Silent Hill Downpour

Silent Hill: Downpour was set to be released this Novemeber, but the game has now been delayed to the second quarter of 2012. This delay confirmation came from Konami.
Early previews of the game showed that is wasn't on par with other Silent Hill games, so I hope the extra time will help make it a worthy sequel. The Silent Hill HD collection which features Silent Hill 2 & Silent Hill 3 is still set to release later this year.

Dom: Hey Marcus, we got delayed until Fall 2011
Marcus: Aw, cmon! S***, that sucks!
April 2011 seemed to be set in stone for the conclusion of the Gears Trilogy, but today that has changed to Fall 2011. According to Kotaku, a statement from Microsoft on the delay is that is all about marketing and prepping it to be their game for 2011, just as Reach was for this year.
Delays always suck, but as gamers we are pretty used to it now. There will still be plenty of games to play by then, and maybe I can get my wings and Seriously 2.0 by then!

So I wake up today to hear that my most anticipated game for 2010 is delayed. Not happy, but it's only for a month which alright. More time to polish it for us I hope.
Capcom gave no reason for the delay, and no more information on whether this will affect Case Zero, which is still slated to come out before DR2. The Official date for Dead Rising 2 in America is now September 28th, 2010.

Another game scheduled for this year has been officially delayed. Alpha Protocol will now be coming out in Spring 2010.
From Kotaku-
"Those retailer listings that pointed to a slip for Obsidian Entertainment's "espionage RPG" Alpha Protocol look more accurate today, as Sega has updated the game's ship date to spring of 2010, a full year after its originally planned release."
Here's what we can expect to see when the game does come out:
"Redefined RPG: A classless system gives you the ability to mold Thorton into the secret agent you want him to be with lethal close combat techniques, marksman skills, proficiency with gadgets, and much more.
International spy: Travel around the world to international safe house locations to obtain information, mission objectives, and conduct meetings with a growing list of contacts.
Dialogue stance system: With an innovative real-time dialogue system, the characters in Alpha Protocol will react to Thorton's each and every word. Caution and wit are needed -- the stakes are high and the tensions mount in conversations that will have you on the edge of your seat."
