The Summer of Arcade releases continue today with the classic Flashback making a return. Developed by VectorCell, this new version of Flashback features upgraded controls, music, and visuals while retaining the main concepts of the original game.
I found the original Flashback to be a fun but difficult title that really required some tactics to navigate the environment as well as taking out foes. The new version looks to offer players the core experience from the original, while taking advantage of modern features that we're used to having today. Give it a download!
The full version of Flashback will cost 800 MSP ($10).

8/20/13 10:00AM | A few big titles have now been released, including Sunday's Disney Infinity, as well as today's games with Saints Row IV and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Reviews for these titles have been fairly positive, and Skylander fans may even want to check out what Disney has to offer with their great figures and the Toy Box mode for Infinity.
Another great title coming out tomorrow is the HD remake of the classic Flashback title, which I loved and played on the SNES and Genesis back in the day.
I plan on picking up Saints Row IV today, so look out for my review in the future!

The upcoming remake Flashback will be apart of the 2013 Summer of Arcade promotion and will be offering players the ability to play the original version of the game. The original was released in the 90's on both SEGA and Nintendo platforms and the newly updated version will bring the game to new and returning players with updated visuals and controls.
Flashback of one of my all time favorites, and I can't wait to play it again with HD visuals. Look out for it on August 21st for $10!
