EA has announced an Xbox One-exclusive subscription service that will give players access to a collection of EA titles.

Titled EA Access, the new service will cost $4.99 a month or $30 per year. The initial line-up for Access games will include FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2, and Battlefield 4, with additional titles to be added in the near future.

EA Access will also provide subscribers with discounts on digital content, including full retail games and DLC, as well as early full game trials of EA titles roughly a week before they release to the public.

The price for this surprising new service sounds fair, and hopefully will be something that will open to more platforms if it is successful on Xbox One.

Running on the new Frostbite 3 engine, Battlefield 4 will be making it's way to current gen consoles, as well as the PS4 and PC later this year, EA detailed at this year's GDC. Below you'll find the 17-minute gameplay premiere of the title, which shows off some of the game's campaign, which is promised to focus on the tribulations of war. EA has stated that multiplayer will be revealed in the near future for the game.

The game looks amazing so far, and we'll all be able to see how it plays this Fall.
