Dying Light was set to be released across Sony and Microsoft's current and past-gen consoles as well as PC, but those release platforms have changed with the announcement that the game will no longer be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The reason is cited for quality issues, as the developers didn't feel the 360 and PS3 version would contain the same core experience from the XB1, PS4, and PC release of the free-running Zombie title.
The trend of going exclusively next-gen is picking up, as Batman: Arkham Knight was announced from the beginning as a next-gen title, and many companies are sure to follow soon. But the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will still have plenty of games to play for quite sometime, due to it's strong install base and availability.
Dying Light will be released in the US on January 27th, 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

IGN received a new video regarding Techland's next zombie title, and it looks pretty sweet. Dying Light contains free-running gameplay that looks reminiscent of Mirror's Edge, along with the openness of the Dead Island titles.
The video explains that zombie behavior will change based on the time of day, and you'll have to traverse the environment very carefully at night since the undead will become more aggressive and even more dangerous.
Check out the video below!
"Dying Light is a first-person, action survival horror game set in a vast and dangerous open world. During the day, players traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population. At night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning’s first light."
