Arcade titles such as the upcoming Halo: Spartan Assault, as well as the slew of digital-only titles for Xbox One will include the same amount of possible gamerscore as the retail games, Microsoft has officially stated.

Arcade titles began on the Xbox 360 with a 200 point limit, then moved to 400, and now will be exactly the same for every XB1 title at 1000. This is great news for achievement enthusiasts who try and earn all of the points in every title that they play.

While Halo: Spartan Assault will be released on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, the 360 version will contain 28 achievements worth 400 points in total, and Xbox One achievements coming in at 30 with 1000 possible points.

Microsoft has stated that they will not identify new digital games by a specific category, stating that they're all just simply games as they go forward with next week's launch of the Xbox One.
