There are plenty of games coming out between now and December, so the chance to try out titles with a demo is always nice. XCOM: Enemy Unknown releases today, and those unsure about the game can try out the free demo, which offers two levels of gameplay.
Forza Horizon is the upcoming arcade-style take on the popular sim racer, which comes out in a few weeks, so a demo of that is great as well.
