Recently released for the Xbox One, Halo: Spartan Assault has now made its way to the Xbox 360 with the same content from its next-gen brethren. If you don't know too much about this new Halo title, it is a twin-stick shooter set in the Halo universe which first arrived on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 but has been enhanced for the Xbox consoles.
Reviews have been mixed on the title, but if you're on 360, you'll be able to check out the Arcade trial to help determine if you want to purchase the title.
Halo: Spartan Assault will cost $14.99 and requires 2.18 GB of space.
"Enlist as a Spartan soldier and sharpen your tactical skills in battle! Set between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4, Halo: Spartan Assault, developed by 343 Industries in conjunction with Vanguard Games, is a new chapter within the award-winning Halo universe. Spanning over 30 missions in vibrant, dangerous worlds, dive deeper into the backstory of Human-Covenant wars, the origins of the Spartan Ops program, and unravel a chilling mystery in Operation Hydra.
Play through the eyes of either Commander Sarah Palmer or Spartan Davis stationed aboard the UNSC Infinity as they fight never-before-seen battles against Covenant forces. You can also join with a fellow Spartan on Xbox Live, in battle against the Flood."

Halo: Spartan Assault coming to 360 and Xbox One this Holiday, includes co-op mode and additional weapons
10/29/13 1:30PM | First released on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, the twin-stick shooter from Vanguard Games and 343i will be making its way to Xbox 360 and Xbox One this Winter. Spartan Assualt was released to great reviews and feedback, and many wondered why the title wasn't coming to Xbox, as it seemed like a perfect fit.
The console version of the game will feature an online co-op mode as well as new exclusive items to aid in the battle against with the Covennat.
From Halo Waypoint:
"Halo: Spartan Assault for Xbox One and Xbox 360 will pit gamers in a galactic-scale war against a persistent and overwhelming enemy from long ago – the Flood. There's a new Halo game coming soon, but it's not Halo 5. Spartan Assault is an 2D Twin-stick action game that will be coming next month for Windows 8 and Windows 8 phones. The game will be supporting touchscreen as well, so its possible that the title will also be available for Windows Surface.
