Today marks the release of the ‘Forces of Nature’ pack for Gears of War 3. It features new maps, characters from previously exclusive retailers, and the return of guardian mode. If you’ve got the Season Pass, simply download in-game, otherwise its 800 MSP ($10).

"If you own Gears of War 3 Season Pass DO NOT purchase this content here as you will be charged again. This pack adds five new multiplayer maps, each featuring unique weather conditions: Aftermath (Flooding City), Artillery (Tornado), Cover (Fog), Jacinto (Rainstorm and Imulsion), and Raven Down (Snowstorm). Also included are 250 Achievement Points and four new multiplayer characters; the Savage Hunter, and new variants of Commando Dom, Mechanic Baird, and the Savage Grenadier Elite."

Epic Games has detailed what is now planned as their last piece of downloadable content for Gear of War 3. Titled 'Forces of Nature', the DLC pack will contain 5 new maps, with two of them being remakes of Jacinto and Raven Down, 4 new character models, 2 additional weapon skins, secret weapons that can be found on the maps, and the return of the Gears 2 mode Guardian. This will also be the last piece of content if you have a Season Pass for Gears 3.

Today marks the release of the third piece of content for Gears of War 3 in the form of Fenix Rising. This multiplayer focused pack features four new maps, one map remade from the original Gears of War, as well as new characters and achievements. Once again Season Pass owners can go ahead and download it, while others will need 800 MSP ($10). I hope the next pack will focus on Beast mode because so far there has been new co-op, horde, and multiplayer content.

Also included are 250 Gamerscore and four new multiplayer characters; Recruit Clayton, Savage Marauder, and new variants of Thrashball Cole and Savage Kantus. SEASON PASS owners should only access this update from the in-game store to avoid a duplicate charge."
