Duke Nukem Forever is a long time coming, but the wait is nearly over as Gearbox has announced that the game has officially gone gold. This means all there's left to do is a bit more advertising and the beginning process of making the discs.
Players who bought the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition or those who pre-ordered Forever will have a demo arriving June 3rd.
Congrats to Gearbox and I can't wait to check out the game, Baby!

It's coming out. Really.
Gearbox Software and 2K Games are finishing up Duke Nukem Forever and are looking to release to long-developed and once cancelled game featuring the Duke's return to a FPS. The announcement was officially unveiled at PAX, the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle Washington and will be coming in 2011 to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Gearbox so far developed great games including 2009 hit Borderlands, WWII Brothers in Arms Half-Life PC expansions, and the PC and Mac version of Halo: Combat Evolved.
Look out for Duke Nukem's big return next year. Really!
