At their Comic-Con Panel, Bungie had some new elements they wanted to discuss about Halo Reach. First off, Firefight will allow you control certain covenant charaters, similiar to Beast mode. A new, yet humorous vehicle was introduced: The forklift. It even beeps when you want to back up. The highlights for me personally though, were the major improvement to Forge, The Forge World beyond the cannon, and the announcement of a Halo Reach Xbox 360. This Halo-Branded Xbox 360 features the New model of Xbox 360's, plus two wireless controllers and the Standard version of Halo Reach. The Xbox itself is a metallic silver. Could it get better? Yes it can as the startup for the Xbox has a Halo tone to it, and upon opening the tray, you will hear the sound of a Shield Recharging like the game does. Awesomeness! The Halo Reach Xbox 360 bundle will be available on September 14th for $399.
Bungie loves 7/7, and always has something for the fans to check out, and this year is an epic surprise. Check out the video below below:
Halo Reach Launches 9/14/2010
You've probably heard about this already, but what exactly does it mean? Well Bungie will still be their own company and make the games they want to make, but with Activision as their publisher, they could potentially have products for other platforms other than the Xbox 360 which is pretty neat. I doubt these titles would be called Halo, as I believe that name and property is with 343 Industries now, but that doesn't stop them from creating something that feels familiar. Bungie has talked about making different types of games in the past, so it will be interesting to see if we hear anything about at E3 this year, but expect more awesome games from this blockbuster Studio in the future.
